Job summary

PANTHERx Rare Pharmacy, based in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to coordinate prescription refills, update billing information, and address patient concerns by phone. This role relays calls to pharmacists and adheres to healthcare regulations while maintaining confidentiality.

The position may require varied schedules between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday–Friday, with hybrid or remote options available based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, especially medical terms.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with patients by phone to coordinate prescription refills and discuss billing.
• Liaises with order management and fulfillment teams to ensure compliance and address concerns.
• Follows pharmacist and leadership direction on program elements of specialty call centers.
• Handles all Patient Care Coordinator duties in English and Spanish.
