Job summary

West Coast Wound is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to oversee daily clinical and operational functions supporting the Medical Programs. You will provide leadership, mentorship, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols and documentation standards.

You will supervise staff, coordinate coverage, manage patient follow-up, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced wound care environment. Strong communication and EMR proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or related healthcare field preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or equivalent certification preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily clinical and operational functions supporting Medical Programs.
• Lead team meetings, train outsource staff, and ensure compliance with protocols.
• Maintain accurate treatment logs, ICD-10 coding, and documentation.
• Monitor regulatory compliance and facilitate patient follow-up.
• Coordinate staff coverage and act as escalation point for issues.
