Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to support the Women’s Care Team. The role emphasizes excellent patient service, accurate medical clerical work, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

The position involves registration, packet preparation, billing-support documentation, co-pay processing, and nightly clinic close procedures. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must know basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite.
• Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Demonstrates excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service background.
• Prior clerical or medical office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle registration and pre-registration to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Prepare pre-registration packets for each procedure.
• Obtain and file documentation to support billing and collections.
• Process co-pays and payments; register patients and update records.
• Back up incoming calls and route to the right department.
• Perform nightly closing procedures for the clinic.
• Call patients for pre-registration notification including copays/deductibles.
• Participate in other duties as assigned.
