Job summary

Washington Health Medical Group (WHMG) is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator (Medical Assistant) to support back-office patient care and keep patient flow efficient. You will document chief complaints, prepare exam rooms, and coordinate with physicians to ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate charting.

The role includes non-clinic duties such as calling patients for appointments, assisting with prescriptions and forms, and scanning medical records.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED required.
• Training in an accredited medical assisting program required; certification preferred.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Rooms patients after paperwork, documents chief complaint, and keeps patient flow moving.
• Prepares exam rooms with equipment and supplies, and orders/maintains supplies.
• Advise patients of test results and assist in prescription refills and form completion.
