Job summary

National Spine & Pain Centers is seeking a Medical Assistant to support clinicians and front office operations. Under Center Manager and Provider guidance, you will greet patients, relay messages, assist with procedures, and maintain sterile technique.

You will prepare exam rooms, take vitals, document charts, review medications, and ensure patient safety and comfort. The role also involves administrative duties and strict adherence to HIPAA and OSHA policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Medical Assisting program preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical MA experience may substitute for formal certification.
• Ability to take vital signs and understand medical terminology.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic software for patient records.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients in waiting areas and exam rooms and prepares them for care.
• Manages daily patient flow and liaises between Providers and patients.
• Takes vitals, documents charts, and reviews medications and allergies.
• Prepares and cleans exam/procedure rooms with sterile technique.
• Assists with follow-up calls and administrative duties as needed.
• Ensures HIPAA privacy and OSHA safety compliance at all times.
