Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a PCC II to support day-to-day clinic operations and patient care in a fast-paced setting. You will learn and apply healthcare policies while assisting providers and staff to ensure smooth workflow.

Responsibilities include patient rooming, vital signs, labs, vaccine administration, consent and documentation, and clinical support across multiple tasks within the care delivery team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with one of the listed MA credentials.
  • Certificate or training in medical assisting or MA certification.
  • At least one year of overall experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clinical expertise within assigned areas.
  • Complete disability paperwork, logs, and ensure safety and protocol compliance.
  • Perform patient care duties: vitals, rooming, labs, med reconciliation, EKG, ear lavage.
  • Handle check-in/out, virtual rooming, vaccines, POC testing, and specimen collection.
  • Manage weekly clinic prep, stocking, medication and supply orders.
  • Reply to patient calls, process prescriptions, and coordinate with provider team.
