Job summary

Northwest Rehabilitation & Associates, a Therapy Partners Group member, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator (Medical Receptionist) for its Dallas location. The role includes front-desk duties, greeting patients, handling phones, coordinating with billing and clinicians, and maintaining confidentiality in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

We seek organized, client-focused individuals with strong Microsoft Office skills and healthcare front office experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 1+ year front desk role; data entry, system dashboards or worklist completion a plus; Medical/Healthcare front office experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required

Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly and maintain a friendly, welcoming relationship with patients and external connections
• Communicate clearly with staff in a friendly, courteous manner
• Answer phones and greet patients professionally
• Coordinate with Billing, PTs and Aide staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Protect patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Adhere to HIPAA policies and procedures
• Review Copay reports and identify accounts needing review
• Audit Journeys/Dashboard to ensure timely work
• Audit Payer Direct Portal for notes and AUTHs
• Check FOC Chats to ensure responses are provided
• Plan chart audits in advance to ensure charts and AUTHs are ready
