Job summary

Physical Therapy and Rehab Specialists is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Monroe, MI clinic. This entry-level role supports clinic growth by executing patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and front office operations in a fast-paced setting.

The PCC-I collaborates with the Clinic Director to maintain efficient procedures, deliver exceptional service, and uphold Upstream Rehabilitation’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations and schedule patient visits.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere and provide excellent customer service.
• Make welcome calls and monitor arrival rate to improve patient experience.
• Manage schedule efficiently and handle non-clinical documentation and deposits.
