Job summary

Upperline Health in Altamonte Springs, FL is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to support physicians by performing medical front desk duties, greeting patients, and ensuring accurate check-in and preparation for appointments.

You will maintain confidential patient records in the EMR, assist with scheduling, collect payments, and help the care team deliver timely, high-quality care within a collaborative, weekday clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as a front-office receptionist or assisting in a healthcare clinic or customer service role.
• Preference for podiatric or orthopedic setting experience.
• Medical billing/coding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Front desk receptionist duties: answer phones, greet patients, collect required information, keep entrance area organized.
• Assist patients with scheduling appointments.
• Maintain on-time schedules by notifying physicians when patients arrive.
• Retrieve and file patient records as needed.
• Collect payments from patients.
• Update patient records and scan documents into EMR.
• Manage office supplies inventory and ordering.
• Protect patient confidentiality of records.
• Support team with additional duties as needed.
