Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's Optum unit is seeking an Associate Patient Care Coordinator in Glendale, AZ. This role provides front office support, scheduling, patient registration, and cashiering, while handling incoming calls. You will outreach to new patients, identify those overdue for preventive care, promote value-based care, and encourage MyChart enrollment to streamline communications with the clinical staff.

Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Location: 17218 N.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of customer service experience.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to new patients to welcome them and schedule initial appointments.
• Identify patients overdue for preventive care and re-engage them.
• Promote value-based care and patient engagement with MyChart.
• Schedule, register patients, and handle cashiering; answer calls.
• Coordinate with care teams to support patient journeys.
