Job summary

Tenet Healthcare is seeking a patient care coordinator to provide administrative support across the patient journey, from scheduling to follow-ups. You will liaise with patients and families, perform interpretation when needed, and ensure all medical information is accessible for informed decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and at least 3 years in healthcare or customer service, with occasional travel to clinics in South Florida. Salesforce experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of patient care including scheduling appointments, surgeries, imaging, and referrals.
• Obtain patient prescription orders and refills.
• Assist with durable medical equipment and prosthetics.
• Respond to patient inquiries within 24 hours and update documents.
• Work with clinical and finance teams to provide all necessary treatment information.
• Serve as patient family liaison, including interpretation and transportation coordination.
• Collect and enter patient information (medical letters, insurance verification, cost estimates, consents).
• Support institute initiatives to improve patient care through research and education.
