Job summary

ADVENT is hiring a Care Coordinator in South Nashville to connect patients, providers and teams for compassionate, seamless care. You will guide patients through treatment decisions, insurance navigation and cost discussions, ensuring adherence and timely follow-up.

The role blends empathy with action in dermatology, plastic surgery, wellness settings, and similar clinics. 2+ years in healthcare coordination and a Bachelor’s degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in healthcare treatment coordination or similar patient-facing role.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience guiding patients toward goals and treatment outcomes.
• Skilled in navigating complex financial conversations including insurance eligibility, out-of-pocket costs, payment options and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for patients and families, building trust and providing education to support the treatment plan per clinic MD guidance.
• Identify and resolve care barriers, address questions and guide patients toward successful completion of their care journey.
• Balance compassion with efficiency to support patients without impacting clinic workflow.
• Advocate for patients on financial matters such as insurance coverage, estimates, deposits, authorization status and out-of-pocket costs.
• Own the patient journey end-to-end with strong listening, communication, influencing and problem-solving skills.
