The PCC will verify insurance, schedule appointments, handle referrals, and maintain medical records while ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• EPIC experience required.
• 1 year medical/healthcare setting experience (non-dental) or 2+ years in a high-volume customer service role.
• Familiarity with CPT and ICD-10 coding is a plus.
• Knowledge of insurance authorization processes.
• Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and visitors.
• Check in high patient volume (200-250 patients daily).
• Verify insurance, update demographics, and schedule appointments.
• Coordinate patient care activities, including referrals and pre-appointment requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
• Facilitate communication between patients, providers, and external partners.
• Assist with insurance authorizations and financial clearance processes.
• Support scheduling of procedures, tests, and follow-up care.
• Ensure timely processing and flow of medical documentation.
• Contribute to a professional, organized, and patient-centered clinic environment.
