In this role you will greet patients, prepare and copy notes, schedule appointments, verify pre-certifications, maintain charts, protect patient privacy under HIPAA, and support providers and staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree preferred.
• 0–2 years of medical terminology experience (2–4 years preferred).
• Excellent communication and a friendly attitude.
• Organized, accurate, and able to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and make them feel welcome
• Prepare and copy prescriptions, school, and work notes
• Schedule appointments and verify pre-certifications when needed
• Notify Lab/X-Ray staff when patients are ready
• Keep charts organized and labeled correctly
• Maintain patient privacy and follow HIPAA guidelines
• Support providers, nurses, and teammates whenever needed
