Job summary

Physiofit, a brand partner of Upstream Rehabilitation, in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to join our team. This role supports clinic growth, handles patient intake, and collaborates with the Clinic Director to ensure efficient procedures.

The PCC-I role focuses on mission-aligned service, patient experience, and effective practice management across scheduling, deposits, and documentation, contributing to a high-performance clinic environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership.
• Ability to multitask, organizational detail, ability to meet deadlines, work with little to no supervision.
• As a member of a team, must possess efficient time management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect all money due at the time of service.
• Convert referrals into evaluations.
• Schedule patient visits.
• Create an inviting clinic atmosphere.
• Make all welcome calls.
• Monitor and influence arrival rate through a great customer experience.
• Manage schedule efficiently.
• Manage non-clinical documentation.
• Manage deposits.
• Manage caseload, D/C candidate, progress note, and insurance reporting.
• Attend required trainings and quarterly compliance sessions.
