Job summary

Nebraska Cancer Specialists is seeking full-time Patient Care Coordinators to join our scheduling department. You will coordinate appointments, labs, therapies, scans and referrals, ensuring a smooth patient flow and exceptional service for our cancer patients.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service or scheduling experience, are comfortable with EMR systems, and can work at other locations as needed. We value compassion, reliability, and teamwork in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preference for candidates with experience in customer service and/or patient scheduling, reception, secretary work, electronic medical records, and multi-line phones.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients as they arrive for their appointment.
• Schedule appointments by reviewing providers' orders and coordinating scans/consults/test/procedures.
• Welcome and greet patients, families, and visitors in a helpful and friendly manner.
• Handle phone calls promptly and provide detailed messages.

Job functions include:

• Check in patients as they arrive for their appointment

• Welcome and greet patients/families/visitors to clinic in a manner that is helpful and friendly.
