Job summary

Northland Hearing Centers, Inc. (Starkey Retail) seeks a Patient Care Coordinator to provide a professional front office experience, manage scheduling, and oversee patient accounts and records at the Oak Ridge clinic in Tennessee.

The PCC will guide patients through their hearing journey, perform essential clerical duties, support marketing and events, and ensure HIPAA compliance while delivering exceptional service daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Proficient with computer systems; familiarity with Sycle, Pay Junction or MS 365 is a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage the front desk according to company standards.
• Answer phones with a friendly, scripted greeting and follow-up as needed.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; enter outcomes within 24 hours.
• Maintain patient records, accounts receivable and inventory per guidelines.
• Support retention marketing and patient education activities; assist with events.
