Job summary

The Patient Care Representative at Surgery Partners’ Key Whitman Eye Center – South Arlington, TX manages day-to-day front desk operations to ensure quality patient care, uphold company processes, and promote outstanding eye care.

The role requires 1–3 years of healthcare reception experience, excellent communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and HIPAA knowledge. CPR is a plus and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of Healthcare reception related experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Attention to detail and time management.
• CPR desired, but not preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients as they arrive in a friendly and professional manner.
• Collects and verifies patient data for accuracy and completeness.
• Creates a productive work environment and delivers excellent customer service and patient care.
• Checks patients in and out and schedules appointments as needed.
• Directs patients, vendors, visitors and the public as appropriate.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the patient EMR.
