Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required or two years of relevant work experience
• Enrollment in or recent completion of a healthcare-related program
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Must obtain MA certification within one year of hire

Responsibilities

• Greet patients in person and by phone professionally
• Register patients with accurate demo, insurance, and financial information
• Schedule appointments, tests, and referrals per clinic protocols
• Coordinate and communicate patient messages between patients and providers
• Document patient interactions and test results in the EMR
• Assist with patient care activities under supervision
• Obtain and record vital signs following clinical guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinic environment
