Parkland Health is seeking a Patient Service Associate to provide patient-centered care and operational support at the Irving Health Care Center. You will coordinate activities in clinical areas, assist with patient data collection, screenings, and essential office tasks to ensure a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, guiding them through the visit, managing waves of patient flow, and collaborating with the care team.

Formación

• Three years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical/healthcare setting.
• Patient registration experience preferred.
• Coursework towards medical terminology is a plus.
• Medical Office Assistant experience or training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients and families, assist with directions and inquiries, and ensure patient comfort.
• Coordinate patient flow and adapt to clinic needs to support efficient visits.
• Assist with data collection, check in, and verify patient information and coverage.
• Perform pre-visit activities to gather patient information for the clinic team.
• Assist with financial counseling referrals and cash handling per Parkland policies.
• Document and enter data accurately in the electronic health record and scheduling system.
