Ascension St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for night shift in the Intensive Care Unit. This full-time role focuses on compassionate patient care, assisting with physician orders under RN supervision, and maintaining a safe, healing environment.

Qualifications

• Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) within 1 month of hire date.
• Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate personal care by assisting patients with daily living activities and maintaining dignity and comfort.
• Support clinical excellence by assisting with physician-ordered treatments under RN supervision.
• Act as a vital clinical link by observing and reporting changes in a patient’s condition to the nursing team.
• Foster a healing environment by keeping patient spaces clean and organized and supporting safety protocols.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.

• Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin, and in Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work within a hospital setting obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience:

• Previous CNA experience in a hospital setting preferred.
