Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) for the Surgical & Orthopedic Unit. Under supervision of an RN or LPN, you will assist in patient care, perform basic clinical tasks, and support a fast-paced Med/Surg team. Full-time nights, 36 hours per week, with a $1,500 sign-on bonus for FT employees.

Responsibilities include vital signs, meals, hygiene, ambulation, and documentation in the EMR. Training programs and growth opportunities are available within Mercy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA/CPTC certification or enrollment preferred.
• No prior healthcare experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with meals, hygiene, toileting, ambulation and transport.
• Record vital signs and document in EMR.
• Provide clerical support and collaborate with the care team.
