Mercy in Springfield, MO is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support individualized patient care under the direction of the RN or LPN. You will work within a collaborative team to help patients reach their highest level of wellness.

Education includes a high school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC or Mercy program enrollment; no experience required. Training (175 hours in 90 days) and BLS within 1 month, PCA competencies in 3 months are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, CNA/CPTC or Mercy program enrollment.
• No prior experience required.
• Preferred CNA certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist under RN or LPN in individualized patient care to support wellness.
• Perform designated clinical and non-clinical tasks for patient care.
• Collaborate with team to meet group care goals.
