Job summary

Mercy Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support nursing staff in delivering individualized patient care. Under the direction of the RN or LPN, you will assist with basic clinical tasks and non-clinical duties to promote wellness.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC enrollment is considered, and a required 175-hour Missouri training program will be provided if no prior experience. BLS must be obtained within one month.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; CNA/CPTC enrollment considered.
• No prior experience required; Missouri provides 175-hour training within 90 days for PCA.
• BLS certification within one month; PCA competencies within 3 months.
• CNA certification preferred when available.

Responsibilities
