Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is hiring a Patient Care Associate to join the Cardiac Telemetry team. You will work alongside RNs and LPNs to deliver personalized care, document vital signs, assist with daily activities, and support clerical tasks.

The role offers strong training and a clear pathway to advanced patient care roles. New hires complete a 175-hour training program as part of orientation and are supported by an accredited apprenticeship.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; CNA/CPTC preferred or enrollment in healthcare programs.
  • No prior experience required; full training provided.
  • Physical ability to lift/push 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Take and document vital signs in electronic medical records.
  • Assist patients with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport.
  • Provide clerical support as needed.
