Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsabilités

• Provides patient care including hygiene, comfort, support and safety measures; nutrition and elimination needs; simple treatments and procedures; vital signs; weights; glucose monitoring and mobility.
• Receives and communicates patient information accurately; reports to the nurse when needed.
• Orients patient to the unit and room upon admission and ongoing.
• Responds to call lights and performs rounding to meet patient needs.
• Documents tasks according to unit policies.
• Cleans equipment and notifies repair if defective.
• Assists with emergency procedures (e.g., Code 68, Code Yellow) and courier duties.
• Restocks supplies for patient care and maintains unit cleanliness.
• Monitors temperature logs and maintains orderly unit.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
