Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Pennsylvania Department of Health Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.
• One year of clinical patient-care experience or enrollment in a health-related program with CNA skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition and elimination needs.
• Record vital signs, weights, glucose monitoring and mobility using proper tools.
• Communicate patient information accurately and notify the nurse when needed.
• Orient patients and families to the unit and rooms on admission and ongoing.
• Restock supplies, maintain clean patient areas and equipment per policy.
