Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a full-time outpatient role. You will perform comprehensive histories and physicals, provide prenatal care, and manage contraception including IUD/Nexplanon.

Requirements include 1+ year in Women’s Health/OB as NP/PA (3+ years preferred), CA NP/PA licensing, and EPIC EMR familiarity. Competitive base salary with incentive opportunities and comprehensive benefits are

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

*The salary range above is an estimated annual base salary for a full-time position. Your Total Rewards would include a base salary plus performance-based incentives and other valuable benefits. Our compensation models utilize fair market value data specific to your specialty.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
