Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. This outpatient position offers a base salary range of $126,000 to $158,000 with an annual incentive plan and comprehensive benefits.

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with no after-hours call and an expected patient load of 15 to 21 per day.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as NP/PA; 3+ years preferred.
• Experience with OB and prenatal care strongly preferred.
• Active NP or PA license in California and board certification in Women’s Health preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join MemorialCare’s growing Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA.

Practice Information & Position Details

• Employment opportunity with MemorialCare Medical Group
• 100% Outpatient
• Hours of operation:Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• No after hours call
• Average 15 to 21 patients per day

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
