Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA seeks an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 100% outpatient role in our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no after-hours call.

You’ll see 15–21 patients daily, perform histories and exams, provide obstetric prenatal care, and implant contraception, in an Epic EMR environment. Compensation includes a base salary range of $126,000 to $158,000 plus an annual incentive

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred.
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations.
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.).
• See new OB patients and provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
