Job summary

MemorialCare Medical Group in Lakewood, CA is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Ob/Gyn and Family Medicine practice in Lakewood, CA. This 100% outpatient role offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with no after-hours call and an average of 15–21 patients per day.

The position involves comprehensive histories/exams, contraception initiation (IUD, Nexplanon), prenatal OB care, and lab/test interpretation.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.
• 1+ year of experience in Obstetrics strongly preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused histories and physical examinations
• Implant contraception (e.g., IUD placement, Nexplanon, etc.)
• See new OB patients. Provide prenatal care throughout all stages of pregnancy.
• Interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests

Base Salary Range*:$126,000 to $158,000

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in Women’s Health or related field as a NP or PA; 3+ years preferred.

Education & Licensure

• California Nurse Practitioner and Furnishing licensure or California Physician Assistant license
• Current, active, unrestricted licensure as an NP or PA
• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Board certification in Women’s Health (Preferred)
• Current BLS
• NPI and DEA
