Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to work with registered nurses and healthcare teams in Minnesota hospitals. You will provide direct patient care, document vital signs, and support daily living activities in a structured training program.

We offer comprehensive benefits and no prior healthcare experience required. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is available for full-time hires (0.75–1.0 FTE); onsite interviews will be held at Mayo Clinic facilities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to read, write, communicate, and understand English.
• 12 college credits or HS diploma/GED with Nursing Assistant training or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification or orientation included to obtain certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care by assisting with activities of daily living.
• Obtain and document vital signs, intake/output, and other data in the EHR.
• Maintain a safe patient care environment following safety practices and protocols.
• Collaborate with nurses and healthcare team to support care delivery.
