NYU Langone Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to support reception, registration, and patient care tasks across NYU Langone Health clinics. The role involves greeting patients, checking in/out, answering phones, and assisting with clinical tasks within EPIC workflows.

You will help with vital signs, specimen collection, patient privacy, and ensuring rooms are cleaned and prepared for visits, while providing language assistance when needed and guiding patients through MyChart.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is required.
• Working knowledge of English is essential.
• Minimum of one year of experience as a Patient Care Assistant or Medical Assistant in the last two years.

Responsabilités

• Greets patients and completes check-in and check-out processes as needed.
• Answers phones and schedules appointments.
• Assists with vital signs and prepares rooms for provider visits.
• Maintains patient privacy in accordance with HIPAA.
