Job summary

UNC Health in Chapel Hill, NC is seeking staff to assist with patient transport, cleaning operating rooms, restocking supplies and patient-related duties under nurse/physician supervision.

Shifts include Saturday and Sunday 7:30am-4:00pm and Tue/Thu/Fri 9:00am-5:30pm, with hours subject to change based on team, department, and location needs. BCLS certification is required; six months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months related experience is preferred.
• BCLS required.
• Education Requirements: None required as long as other position qualifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Assists with patient transport, cleaning operating rooms, restocking supplies, and patient related duties under the supervision of a nurse/physician.
• Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.
• Assists at desk, answering phones, intercom and other duties as necessary.
• Positions patient's safely under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse and/or Physician.
• Assembles and disassembles bed attachments for surgical procedures and ensures proper setup according to case needs.
