Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care is seeking an Operating Room Attendant to transport patients and assist with positioning during surgical procedures. You will help with room setup, cleaning between cases, and ensure a safe OR environment under RN supervision.

This full-time, onsite role requires a High School diploma or equivalent and BLS certification; preferred CNA training or prior surgical experience. Night shifts and 40-hour work week are noted in the job details.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• BLS certification required.
• Preferred: Nursing Assistant course completion.
• Preferred: experience in a surgical setting.

Responsibilities

• Transports patients, specimens, blood, and products between clinical areas and assists with patient positioning.
• Sets up operating rooms by positioning equipment and supplies and prepares case needs.
• Assists with other patient care activities under RN supervision.
• Maintains safe, clean OR environment and uses cleaning agents correctly between cases.
• Cleans and prepares ORs, stocks supplies, and ensures organization of scrub sinks and corridors.
