Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant-like teammate for the Med Surg unit in Grafton, ND. The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, including activities of daily living, vital sign monitoring, and assisting with admissions and transports.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Measure and document vital signs and intake/output.
• Perform patient rounding and communicate needs to RN.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collect specimens and perform point-of-care testing as directed.
• Handle errands and stock nursing area; clean equipment and rooms.
• Assist with patient positioning and transport under supervision.
