Qualifications

• BLS (AHA) certification required within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing with the state registry.
• Basic computer skills for EMR documentation.

• Annual certification renewals for hospital-based programs (e.g., DNV, CARF).

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation).
• Document vital signs and patient data in EMR.
• Conduct purposeful rounds and communicate patient needs to RN.
• Participate in admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing as directed.
