Qualifications

• Clinical experience in patient care settings.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage reception and front-desk tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete check-in/check-out processes.
• Answer phones and schedule appointments.
• Route calls and questions to appropriate contacts.
• Escort patients to exam rooms and prepare rooms for provider visits.
• Validate patient records per FGP guidelines.
• Take vital signs and record in EMR.
• Assist with collection of lab specimens.
• Support patient access and quality initiatives.
• Perform other duties as needed.
• Obtain patient vitals and tests within defined scope.
• Maintain patient flow and HIPAA privacy.
• Explain MyChart functionality to patients.
• Prepare patient encounters with up-to-date information.
• Review and import pre-visit information and history.
• Maintain equipment logs and safety measures.
• Communicate downtime procedures as needed.
• Complete annual competencies (Fire Safety, etc.).
