Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to support nursing staff with direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role requires the ability to communicate patient status clearly and to adapt to a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Flexible hours are required, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. A high school diploma or GED and BLS certification are required at hire, with ongoing competency in BLS.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification required on hire and valid for at least 90 days from start date.
• Maintains BLS competency.

Responsabilités

• Assist nursing staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Communicate patient status and delegated tasks clearly.
