Job summary

Lakeland Regional Health is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to deliver care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and communicate patient needs to the health care team in a timely manner.

The role requires completion of an approved PCA program and Basic Cardiac Life Support. This on-site position is based in Lakeland, FL and offers active benefit eligibility and time-off accrual.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent is required.
• Completion of an approved PCA program.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care under RN direction and delegation.
• Assist with activities of daily living as delegated by the RN.
• Document vital signs and report changes to the RN.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to diverse populations.
