Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a part-time Patient Care Assistant (PCA) for Ellison 12 Adult Medical Unit in Boston, MA. The role supports patients with daily living activities, vitals, and basic nursing tasks, under licensed staff supervision.

The position offers a $750 sign-on bonus for applicable hires, with day and night shifts, including every other weekend. 24 hours per week, onsite at 15 Parkman Street, with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No
• BLS certification required
• CMA or CNA credentialing preferred
• Experience in patient care/elder care 0-1 year preferred
• Proficient with electronic medical records

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Take vitals and document in EMR.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, nutrition, and mobility.
• Support RNs and physicians with exams and treatments.
• Maintain clean, stocked rooms and equipment.
• Assist with patient admissions and discharges.
• Provide patient and family education as needed.
