Job summary

Mass General Brigham is hiring a Patient Care Assistant for the Adult Inpatient Medicine unit at Bigelow 14. The role supports daily living activities and monitors vitals during 36-hour night shifts with mandatory weekend coverage. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered for eligible new employees in PCA positions.

Located at 90 Blossom Street, you will work under licensed personnel, document thoroughly, and communicate health concerns to nursing staff. BLS and CMA/NAPCN certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS), CMA or equivalent national certifications.
• Experience: 0–1 year in patient care or elder care preferred.
• Strong communication and computer skills for EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Performs vital signs, weights/heights, intakes and outputs with accuracy.
• Completes documentation in the medical record as required.
• Interacts with patients and families effectively.
• Assists with bathing, dressing, eating and other ADLs.
• Assists with turning/repositioning and mobility as needed.
• Reports health concerns to nurses.
