Nationwide Children’s Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide basic supportive care to pediatric patients under RN supervision. The role includes collecting vital signs, assisting with procedures, and maintaining patient safety in a 0.8 FTE day shift schedule (32 hours/week).

Qualified candidates will have an approved fundamentals course, active Ohio CNA, CPR/BLS, and at least one year of hospital patient care experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of fundamentals course from an approved nursing program, or equivalent certification or experience.
• One year of patient care experience in a hospital setting within the last three years, or equivalent education or certification.
• Active Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) in the State of Ohio, or equivalent education or experience.
• Current CPR certification (BLS for healthcare provider) required.

Responsabilités

• Collects, documents, and reports vital signs.
• May complete screening questions and documentation or minor specimen testing as assigned.
• Promotes general patient safety.
• Holds and positions patients and assists with procedures.
• Prepares materials and supplies as delegated.
• Maintains HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
