Job summary

Wallick Senior Living in Grove City, OH is seeking a Personal Care Assistant / Caregiver to provide direct resident care at The Ashford at Grove City. Shifts available 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm, and 11pm-7am; part-time and full-time options with pay of $16/hour plus shift differential.

The role supports residents in daily activities, hygiene, and mobility, with a strong emphasis on dignity and independence within a patient-centered care team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CPR certified; Nurse Aide certification is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Assist with personal hygiene including bathing and grooming (bathing and toileting).
• Respond to call lights promptly and address residents or family needs.
• Encourage resident involvement in activities.
• Assist residents to and from activities, dining room, and other community functions.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

Our exceptional PCAsprovide direct resident care and strive to give our residents worth and meaning byhelpingthem thrive mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially as they choose.You will work as part of a team that ensures the residents have a comfortable and safe place to call Home.

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming to include bathing and toileting.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and respond accordingly to the resident’s and / or family needs.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Organized and self-motivated to do a great job for our residents
• CPR Certified. Nurse Aide Certification is a plus but not required.
• Effective communication skills to interact with co-workers, residents, family members and peers.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions
• Previous experience working in an Assisted Living or Memory Care Community is a plus
