Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a nursing assistant to support Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses in delivering patient care. You will perform assigned care activities, help with hygiene, nutrition, elimination, and comfort, and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges under supervision.

You will also document care and maintain patient safety throughout shifts. Responsibilities include measuring vital signs, keeping patient rooms clean and organized, and promptly responding to call

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care activities as delegated by the nurse.
• Assist with hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care and comfort for assigned patients.
• Take and record vital signs, measurements, and admissions steps.
• Assist with patient movement, transfers, and discharge processes.
• Maintain a clean, stocked, and safe patient environment.
• Respond promptly to call lights and patient requests.
• Document care activities in the patient record.
