Job summary

Capital Health is seeking a patient care assistant to support RN staff and deliver essential daily activities. You will assist with hygiene, nutrition, mobility, and patient comfort, following safety and infection control guidelines.

Strong communication and bedside manner are essential. Training will cover CPR, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to improve patient outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
• AHA Heartsaver AED; non-licensed must obtain before end of orientation period.
• Proficient English with strong verbal and written communication; good bedside manners.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CPR under the supervision of RN or Physician.
• Document patient care activities and data accurately.
• Assist with admission, transfer, or discharge.
• Monitor vital signs and support basic daily living tasks.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure safe, compassionate care.
