Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a compassionate Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor conditions, and support clinical operations to promote comfort, safety and dignity for patients and families.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, dressing, mobility; recording vital signs; responding to calls; assisting transfers and positioning; maintaining a clean environment; and following infection

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Measure and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations as assigned
• Respond promptly to patient calls and requests for assistance
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and positioning using proper body mechanics
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient environment
• Report changes in patient condition to the licensed nursing staff in a timely manner
• Support nurses and clinical staff with procedures and routine patient care tasks
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times
• Provide compassionate, respectful care to patients and families
