Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years in customer service in a healthcare setting.
• Experience using a Practice Management System and managing Accounts Receivable functions.
• Proficiency with spreadsheet tools (Excel/Google Sheets) and/or data dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients and answer questions about medical accounts.
• Explain insurance benefits and balances to patients.
• Collect updated insurance information and notify billing staff of changes.
• Set up payment plans and assist with terms of repayment.
