Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support certification must be obtained within one month of hire date.
• BLS certifications (Online certifications without skills assessment not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance information from patients and counsel on financial assistance options.
• Register new patients and assist with form completion.
• Review schedule for new patients and update as needed.
• Call patients with appointment reminders and verify insurance information.
• Explain billing processes to patients and answer inquiries from patients and payers.
• Assist staff with scheduling and basic account maintenance.
