You will register patients, review schedules, remind patients of appointments, answer inquiries from patients and third parties, and help with billing while ensuring accurate information and customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within one month of hire.
• Work Experience: Billing in medical office setting, 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Obtain insurance information and advise on financial assistance options.
• Register new patients and help with form completion.
• Review and update the schedule for new patients.
• Call patients for appointment reminders and collect insurance details.
• Explain billing processes and answer inquiries from patients and payers.
• Assist staff with reminders and scheduling duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
